About OL HEAD
OL HEAD is an 8-week paid workforce and wellness initiative for young adults ages 18–30 in Philadelphia. Participants earn $20/hour for 10 hours a week, plus a completion stipend of $1,000. The program provides transportation support, workforce certifications (ServSafe, CPR, GED prep, Lifeguard training), eight therapy sessions, mentoring, and a wellness retreat.
In addition, each participant designs a Neighborhood Impact Project with a $500 budget, serving youth ages 10–17. The program culminates in a commencement ceremony celebrating participants’ growth as role models and leaders.
